Arcane Prime Mips - Ski Helmet

Arcane Prime Mips in Rainy Day is an all-mountain helmet for piste and off-piste, carrying Salomon's most complete safety package. It weighs 600 grams and is built on a hybrid shell that pairs tough ABS with light polycarbonate.

The two-part shell frees up room for extra ventilation and for the Airflow channels that move air between head, helmet and goggles to keep the lens clear. Protection comes in three layers: MIPS cuts the force of angled impacts, EPS4D spreads energy in several directions, and Smart Safety 360 wraps EPP around the whole head so the sides are covered too. The BOA Fit System is integrated straight into the MIPS layer for micro-adjustment, and the entire fit system moves vertically to suit different head shapes. MaxFit ear pads are removable, and the liner is Polartec Power Dry, which wicks moisture away from the skin. The Fidlock buckle closes magnetically with one hand. Bumpers along the edge act as strap guides for Salomon goggles. The helmet is certified to CE-EN1077 and ASTM F-2040.
