Arete Wool Insulation Hood - Midlayer

The Mons Royale Arete Wool Insulation Hood in Melon, Taupe and Black is a lightweight insulated hooded jacket made for freeriding and ski touring.

The jacket is filled with 100% merino wool insulation at 80 gsm, which delivers fast warmth and a strong warmth-to-weight ratio. The shell is 100% recycled polyester in Pertex Quantum Ripstop, treated with a C0 eco-friendly DWR finish that is free from PFOA and PFAS, so the jacket sheds light moisture and wind. The lining is 100% nylon. Along the sides sit merino fleece panels, a blend of 59% recycled polyester, 36% merino wool and 5% elastane, that add stretch and freedom of movement. The ergonomic cut and flexible side panels keep the jacket comfortable on the move, and it is thin enough to sit under a shell jacket as a warming mid layer. The jacket compresses down so it is easy to carry in your pack on long days in the mountains.
