Sweet Protection Back Protector Vest 2.0 Men's carries the brand's 3S technology, Sweet Shock Shield. The pad is certified to EN 1621-2:2014, Level 1.

The colour is True Black. The protection itself is a visco-elastic foam pad, a soft material that yields slowly under load and therefore spreads an impact over time instead of passing it straight through. The pad is shaped to the back with three protective layers over the most exposed areas and two layers across the lower back, where you need to bend. Ventilation holes sit outside the spine area, so air moves through without compromising coverage. Breathable mesh covers the outside of the pad, while a 3D mesh lining on the inside lifts the fabric off the skin. The vest around it uses elastic mesh with stretch woven shoulders, a soft Lycra collar and a removable waistband with height-adjustable Velcro. The pad lifts out so the vest can be hand washed. Total weight is 600 grams.
