Defined Light - Ski Pants

Warmth close to the body without bulk under a shell is what Scott Pants W's Defined Light is built for. The grid fleece knit weighs 165 g/m2, and the pants land around 150 grams.

The colour is black. The knit uses a grid structure that creates small pockets of air against the skin. Trapped air insulates, while the channels between the pockets carry sweat away, which is exactly what a day of alternating climbing and standing still demands. The blend is 94 percent recycled polyester and 6 percent elastane. That elastane gives enough stretch for long strides and deep knee bends without the fabric riding up. The athletic cut sits close to the leg, so no folds build up under an outer layer. A soft elastic waistband lies flat beneath bib-style shell pants. The knit dries fast, so they are ready again by the next morning on a multi-day trip. The low weight also makes them easy to carry as a spare layer in a pack.
