HDX - Gloves
Part of the POW Artist Series, the HDX Glove in the Schoph colourway takes a workwear glove and gives it a waterproof membrane and real insulation. Shell and palm are Grade A leather, and the artwork was developed with the artist Schoph.
Grade A leather is the POW term for the finest goatskin from their tanneries, and it is used on the back of the hand and in the palm alike. The palm carries a digitally printed leather overlay that adds grip and durability, plus an impact absorbing pad that takes the edge off hard landings. Inside sits a three layer HIPORA membrane. It prevents water from coming in while letting moisture out, so the glove does not turn clammy over a long day. Insulation is 3M Thinsulate, which traps body heat without adding much bulk, and the lining is a premium anti-pill polyester microfleece. The cuff is a slip on sock cuff with a cinch closure, a short cuff that tucks under the jacket sleeve and pulls tight. The thumb carries a suede wipe for your nose, and a wrist leash is included.
- Grade A goatskin: durable and holds its shape
- Three layer HIPORA membrane: waterproof and breathable
- 3M Thinsulate: warmth without bulk
- Printed leather palm overlay: better grip
- Impact absorbing palm pad: protection in a crash
- Sock cuff with cinch closure: sealed under the sleeve
- Suede thumb wipe and an included wrist leash
This glove is for snowboarders and skiers who would rather wear leather than nylon. Goatskin, a membrane and Thinsulate make it as useful riding the lift as it is shovelling out afterwards.
