Igniter 2Vi® Mips - Ski Helmet

In Matte Bronco White, the Igniter 2Vi Mips Helmet is the same all-mountain piece from Sweet Protection: 640 grams built on the 2Vi platform and certified to CE EN 1077 class B and ASTM F2040.

The 2Vi platform combines shell, liner and Mips into one system. A variable-elasticity shell is stiff enough to spread an impact and elastic enough not to crack, and inside sits a shock-absorbing liner with three densities moulded together in a complex geometry. The internal rib structure works alongside the two-layer Mips system, which lets the helmet move slightly against the head in angled impacts and so reduces rotational forces. EN 1077 is the European standard for alpine ski and snowboard helmets, and class B covers general recreational and all-mountain use. ASTM F2040 is the equivalent American standard. Ten large polycarbonate vent ports are penetration-proof, and the ventilation can be adjusted on the move. The Occigrip dial tightens with gloves on and adjusts for height as well. The goggle garage has dedicated vents, and the Fidlock magnetic buckle closes one-handed. The snap-in liner comes out for washing.
